If you’re a creative, a programmer, an administrative help, or have many other jobs that can be done online, you can probably still find freelance work on sites like Upwork and LinkedIn. Many businesses are still running at full speed, like those in the tech industry and some food brands selling well at market stores because of high demand.

Taking on freelance work can be a wonderful method to get your side business off the ground, whether getting paid immediately for your side work (like doing graphic design to fund your agency) or using the money you make from freelancing to fund another type of business.

Engage in social media activities

In 2020, social media will have a renaissance because people will have to get back to being more social and involved online because they need to. Even though being more involved on social media might not lead directly to making money, you can start making good connections and planting seeds that could lead to ways to make money in the future. For instance, you can hire social media to get ideas from the public for your business, find new customers, find partners who will assist you in improving your business, and so on. This is a chance for a new wave of intellectuals to appear, and while only a few will succeed in it, now could be a good time to build your brand to get followers.

When you have a following, you can make money through affiliate links on your site, video views on YouTube, podcasting ads through Anchor, and article views on Medium, among other ways. Even though several of us have been hurt by this situation, staying positive and seeking opportunities wherever possible is crucial.
